Description
A light dusting of snow covers the Colorado Front Range Hogbacks near the Big Thompson Canyon west of Loveland. Although we experienced some winter weather here recently, this image was made in 2012. The highway is washed out west of Loveland and east of the Dam Store near the entrance to the Big Thompson Canyon since the September 2013 floods hit the area.
I know that some of the foothills received a dusting of snow and more of the white stuff fell at higher altitudes, but none here as far as I know - this year. Looks like winter is coming soon for real. Hope it's fairly mild.
