Artist's Description

I think my Flux Capacitor in my Jeep got stuck again. Had to take a perfectly good image of the Yellowstone river and Paradise Valley region in Montana and "improve" it. Oh well...

The Yellowstone River winds its way southward prior to crossing the Montana border and entering Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The River is a tributary of the Missouri River, approximately 692 miles long, in the western United States. Considered the principal tributary of the upper Missouri, the river and its tributaries drain a wide area stretching from the Rocky Mountains in the vicinity of the Yellowstone National Park across the mountains and high plains of southern Montana and northern Wyoming. --Wikki

The digital effects were added after the photograph was made back in 1955...
