Artist's Description

A serene landscape features a grazing elk near a reflective pond, with snow-capped mountains in the background under a partly cloudy sky. The vibrant green grass and the scenic view create a peaceful nature scene.

A young elk still in the velvet stopped by a glacier made Kettle Lake in northern Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park for a quick snack above tree line.

Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition.
