Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This photograph was made just over the Oregon - Washington border looking east. That's Oregon's Mt. Hood sticking up in the sky above the Columbia river.
The Columbia is the largest river in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. It river rises in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, flowing northwest and then south into Washington, turns west to form most of the border between Washington and Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. The 1,243 mile long river has its largest tributary in the Snake River. The drainage basin is roughly the size of France and extends into seven U.S. states plus a Canadian province.
By volume, the Columbia is the fourth-largest river in the United States and has the greatest flow of any North American river draining into the Pacific. Photography is all about using light to capture the emotion and beauty of a fleeting moment. For me, this adventure began with a single spring image using a small Kodak film camera of a freshly watered central Kansas ditch and has come full circle using modern digital techniques. My first camera was acquired by trading an ancient Royal typewriter to a fellow college student who was desperate to finish a term paper. It was a long time ago and that camera was my passport to an art that has fascinated me ever since.
