Description
What goes up, must come down. This rock slide image was made from Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park in northern Colorado last summer. Since U.S. Highway 34 is totally washed out through the Big Thompson Canyon to Estes Park, it will be a long time before anyone gets up to this area again. The floods that occurred in September of 2013 are now being referred to as a "once in 1000 year event" - at least that's some kind of upgrade I guess...
