Description
There are still plenty of aspen trees in Rocky Mountain National Park that are in the process of losing their green color and taking on the yellow fall look. These trees were photographed on the western slope of the Continental Divide shortly after entering the park from the west entrance north of Grand Lake on U.S. Highway 34.
The yellow and green leaves are a nice contrast to the smaller and very dead "ever brown" in the foreground. Winter is coming soon, get some while you can.
