The South Platte Valley Historical Society maintains a history park on the north side Fort Lupton, Colorado with facilities dedicated to education and historic interpretation including annual rendezvous at nearby Fort Lancaster/Lupton. This image was made at a recent February "Frozen Toes" rendezvous - wonder why they call it that?
Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition.
