Description

A twisted, hardy tree stands alone in a vast desert landscape, with red rock formations in the background under a bright blue sky dotted with fluffy clouds. The scene captures the resilience and beauty of nature in harsh conditions.

Most deserts get what little precipitation they do receive in a few, heavy rainfalls, rather than many light rains spread out over the course of the year. This leads to seasonal lakes, puddles and rivers which may last a few days, months, or even only a few hours.

Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition.
