Description
Vertigo is when a person feels as if they or the objects around them are moving when they are not. Often it feels like a spinning or swaying movement. This may be associated with nausea, vomiting, sweating, or difficulties walking. It is typically worsened when the head is moved. Vertigo is the most common type of dizziness.
The National Park Service warns that there are no easy trails into or out of the Grand Canyon. They state that "the Bright Angel Trail begins just west of Bright Angel Lodge and offers day hikes that range in distance up to 12 miles round trip. Some shade. Seasonal water availability subject to pipeline breaks. Check at the Visitor Center or back country Information Center for water status. The upper portion of the trail may be extremely icy in winter or early spring.
The Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River. It is contained within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, and the Havasupai Tribe. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery.
Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition. Ordered images will not contain the FAA watermark.
