Description
Meadow Creek Reservoir is a little Colorado lake on the western slope with a well-deserved reputation as a desirable destination. Only 50 acres in size, the small reservoir was built in the early 1970's as a water storage reservoir for Denver Water. The reservoir is only 58 feet deep and serves as a collection point for the expansive Moffat Tunnel Collection System.
The lake is situated a few miles north west of the Powder Horn Cabins in case you want to fish for more than just a day. Keeping going down Highway 14 and you'll come to the Colorado town of Walden.

Doesn't look like spring has sprung there yet, Jon! Love the deep blue sky color contrasting with the white snow...

Yesterday it hit 80F and today it's 35F. In other words, it's Colorado. Thanks Gary!
