Artist's Description
Profile Rock is a 7805 foot high cliff situated nearby to Sheep Gulch and east of Black Hollow in Poudre Canyon west of Ft. Collins, Colorado
The rock is probably the most recognized rock formation in the Canyon and was used for years as a navigation point. Before taking its current name, the whole rock formation was called Arrowhead Point.
Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition.

For me, this adventure began with a single spring image using a small Kodak film camera of a freshly watered central Kansas ditch and has come full circle using modern digital techniques.
