Artist's Description

Spring plum blossoms grow along the Big Thompson River in northern Colorado. Back in Kansas, I would pick a bunch of these every spring around the first part of April. Here the west, they bloom later than that but still smell good.

Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition. Your finished photograph will not contain the Fine Art America watermark.

It was a long time ago and that camera was my passport to an art that has fascinated me ever since. I owned and operated a professional studio in central Kansas for 20 years and moved to Colorado in 1994.
