Description
The Grand Canyon sneaks up on you. Everybody is happily driving along and suddenly, there it is right in front of your car. I managed to hit the place for about a day and a half allowing me to shoot at both sunup and sundown at least twice. The polarizing filter on my camera lens brought out colors in the rock that only were suspected before I arrived. The Colorado River at the bottom and the Arizona winds working together over time made this area a thing not to be missed…
Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition.
