Description
Rabbit Bush is a good place to hide. I know for a fact that a full grown northern Colorado antelope can be invisible in one of these large bushes and will scare the living daylights out of you as it jumps up and roars off over the prairie if you get to close. Looked like he was on fire to me anyway…
Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus is a pleasantly aromatic shrub having erect slender flexible hairy branches and dense clusters of small yellow flowers covering vast areas of western alkali plains and affording a retreat for jackrabbits; source of a yellow dye used by the Navajo.
Some digital effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition. Your finished photograph will not contain the Fine Art America watermark.
