The Colorado winters can be hard, on both people and livestock. No body understands this better than a rancher or farmer with animals to feed.
Photograph made along Highway 34 in northern Colorado after an early season snowfall. Oh, wait a minute. Maybe it was a late season snowfall. Oh well. Colorado has four seasons different than elsewhere: "Almost winter", "winter", "still winter" and "construction"...
